Voice Mail Set Up
Record your greeting
· Press VM:XX key in display window
· Press GREET in display window
· Press GR1 in display window
· Press REC in display window
· Follow prompts to record your greeting
Record your name
· Press VM:XX key in display window
· Press 7 6 to record your name
· Press REC in display window
· Follow prompts to record your name
Create password THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE ON SITE
· Press VM:XX key in display window
· Press 6 7 for Mailbox Options
· Press CODE in display window
· Follow prompts to create your 4-digit password
· Press OK to save or CLEAR to start over
Checking Voicemail Messages
From your phone
· When the message waiting lamp blinks RED you have new messages
· Press VM:XX key in display window
· Follow prompts to check messages
From outside the system
· If the Auto Attendant greeting picks up, dial # and your 3-digit extension
· If the call is answered by a co-worker, ask them to transfer you to Ext 3999. When greeting picks up, dial # and your 3-digit extension
· Follow prompts to listen to messages. You can save, erase and forward the same as if you were in the office.
Making Calls
· Lift the handset, OR press speaker
· Press the Line Key you are wishing to use
· Dial the telephone number
Transferring Calls
To transfer a call to another extension
· With the call in progress, press the pre-programmed key for the extension you are transferring to. Either hang up or wait for the user to answer and announce the call. After announcing the call hang up to complete transfer.
· If no button is available, press the TRANSFER button then dial the 3-digit extension number and hang up or wait for the beep and announce the call. After announcing the call hang up to complete transfer.
· If there is no answer, the caller will go directly to voice mail (ONLY IF VOICE MAIL IS SET UP FOR THAT EXTENSION)
To transfer directly to voice mail
· With the call in progress, press the preprogrammed button of the extension you are transferring to OR press TRANSFER and enter the 3-digit extension number
· Dial 8 OR press VMsg in the display window and hang up
Call Forwarding
· Press MENU key
· Press down cursor key until you get to MENU 60 CALL FORWARDING, press ENTER
· Select MENU 61-67 with the right cursor key, press ENTER
· Select SET button in display
· Dial the extension or 9+off premise phone number to forward to, press NEXT
· Select ALL or LINE (for all calls, or just outside callers)
· Press SAVE, hear beep, beep. Press SPEAKER to hang up

To cancel call forwarding
· Press MENU key
· Press down cursor key until you get to MENU 60 CALL FORWARDING, press ENTER
· Select MENU 61-67 with the right cursor key, press ENTER
· Select CNCL key to cancel. Hear beep, beep. Press speaker to hang up
Conference Calls
· With the first call in progress, press MORE button in display window
· Press CONF
· Press line key and make second call
· Press ADD button in display window
· Press BEGIN button in display window to connect all parties together
Volume Adjustment
To adjust ring volume:

While phone is ringing press Up or Down cursor key to adjust volume
To adjust handset or speakerphone volume:
-
While on a call using handset or Speakerphone Press Up or Down cursor key to adjust volume
Auto Attendant Recording
​· Press the VMsg soft key (enter security code if needed)
· Press 72 for the System Admin menu
· Press the INSTR soft key
· Enter mailbox number. Typically 001 is day greeting and 002 is night greeting. Be sure to listen to the recording before making any changes to confirm you are on the correct greeting
· Follow prompts to Listen, Record and Erase
