Why
Upgrade from the DS-2000 to the DSX?
When
upgrading from the DS-2000 to the DSX, much of the DS-2000 station equipment
is compatible with the new DSX system. This allows you to preserve your
substantial investment is DS-2000 telephones when migrating to the DSX-80/160. There
is no need to replace any of your telephones (a huge savings) and you
can keep some of the cards inside your system.
With the addition of the DSX components to your current system, if you
need to ever replace a telephone, you can do so with the new DSX series phones.
These phones cost a considerable amount less (about $50 per phone) than
the DS-2000 phones you have now, have a larger display and offer more features.
