IntraMail voice mail is a
plug-in “in-skin” full-featured, integrated Voice Mail with Auto Attendant
for DSX. The IntraMail Automated Attendant answers incoming calls and
routes them quickly and efficiently. Integrated Voice Mail features include
Conversation Record, Answering Machine Emulation, and Caller ID with Return
Call. Interactive Soft Keys guide the display telephone user through the
extensive IntraMail feature set.
IntraMail Pro supports all of the features of
the IntraMail and also offers Email Integration, which provides email
notification of new voice mail messages to a user’s inbox or email device. In addition, the
sent notification can optionally include the recorded message as a .WAV file
attachment. Email notification uses SMTP to deliver messages to the
recipient’s email account. With this option, if you have the ability to access
your email, you can also have the ability to listen to your voice mail messages
without having to call your office.
IntraMail’s Automated Attendant can help you and your
customers save time and money. Incoming calls are answered quickly with
greetings that can be customized to change based upon the time of day and/or the
day of the week. Greetings can be tailored to provide callers with dialing
instructions such as, “Dial 1 for sales, 2 for service, or stay on the line to
speak with an attendant.”
Busy offices are able to enhance productivity with IntraMail
features such as Caller ID with Return Call. With your company’s subscription
to Caller ID services from your local telephone provider, IntraMail can
automatically capture the calling party’s phone number and associate it with
the caller’s voice mail message. Caller ID with Return Call then makes it easier for your employees to return these calls.
Fax detection can help you save even more money. Now there’s
no need for a separate phone line for your fax machine. IntraMail can listen for
a fax tone on an incoming call and automatically transfer these calls to the fax
machine’s extension.
Conversation
Record lets you record a conversation into your mailbox, review that
conversation later, and then forward it to another extension.
Interactive soft keys on display telephones are another of the
benefits of full integration offered by the IntraMail system. With the soft keys
you are able to manage your voice mail without having to remember dialing codes.
For example, to exit your mailbox after you’ve listened to your messages,
simply press the soft key labeled “EXIT”.
